- Turn the key to turn your car on without turning on the engine
- Push the brake and gas pedals down simultaneously, holding them down for about 20 seconds
- Wait until the “Service: Oil reset in progress” notification appears
- The display may show “Service: Oil reset complete” when it’s done
This process should turn off your oil light and reset the IOLM back to 100% oil life. When the monitor detects 15% oil life, you’ll see the notice pop up again so you’ll know it’s time to get your oil changed.
