The base four-cylinder engine gets the job done, but the optional turbocharged engine will give you a better driving experience—especially if you’re a frequent flyer on the freeway.
Its combined 30-mpg fuel economy and 59.3 cubic feet of cargo space are definite weak spots of the CX-5, but its upscale details and top-notch infotainment system more than make up for it.
2. Volkswagen Tiguan
