car was stolen
from a car dealership while getting serviced. According to the Los Angeles Times
, the theft even resulted in a televised police chase.Who stole DJ Marshmello’s truck?
Marshmello’s monster truck was stolen on November 3, 2020. The thief, according to
autoevolution.com
, rode his bike up to the dealership, put his bike in the truck bed, and drove the truck off the lot. Apparently, the dealership had left the keys in the ignition.The resulting police chase required police to use spikes to slow the car as well as pursuit intervention techniques like tapping the rear bumpers to make the driver lose control. Neither of those worked, and the chase finally ended when the driver lost control of the car and crashed into a light pole in a Taco Bell parking lot.
The driver was then arrested for evading police and vehicle theft, and authorities believe he may have been under the influence of drugs and alcohol.

The truck itself is a three-and-a-half-ton customized black

It’s certainly a noticeable ride, with large wheels and a lifted body, but there is some speculation that the stolen car might not belong to the DJ.While the car taken for a joyride is extremely similar to Marshmello’s truck, there is something noticeably missing from the wrap. Autoevolution.com points out that Marshmello’s car had a decal of his name featured on the wrap, while the stolen truck did not.
This missing detail may point to the truck belonging to the Diesel Brothers, as they built one just like it for the 2019
SEMA
