Though everyone knows about the Koenigsegg Regera
, the brand has developed a multitude of amazing mega-cars and hypercars. One of their more recent offerings is the Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut. Here’s everything you should know about this speed demon luxury car
, with information courtesy of CarBuzz
. Specs of the Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut
Koenigsegg continually aims to beat its competition in making the fastest car in the world, and following the release of the Bugatti Chiron 300+
the company decided to pull all the stops for the Jesko Absolut. It’s the specs that really count when it comes to the Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut because they’re what make it, a hypercar. The vehicle is rear-wheel drive with a 5-liter twin-turbo V8 engine and a 9-speed multi-clutch transmission.
The car seats only two, but who really needs more with a car like this, has a weight of 2,910 pounds and a trunk space of only 5.2 cubic feet.
The Absolut can apparently hit a top speed of 330 mph in the best conditions making it at one point the fastest car in the world.
The smooth exterior of the Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut
Based on the aerodynamic and sleek exterior of the Absolut this car was clearly made with speed in mind, making it a truly excellent hypercar.
While the names and exterior might be similar to the Koenigsegg Jesko
and the Absolut is based on the Jesko, there were some tweaks made to differentiate it primarily adjustments to its high-speed stability. Replacing the regular Jesko’s rear spoiler are fins in the back which were inspired by the F-15 fighter jet, these fins clean up air flow in the back and give the Absolut less drag and that high-speed stability.
Both the drag and the downforce are further lessened by the air duct on the closed front hood. On top of this the exterior features an extended rear hood, lowered ride height, covered rear wheels, and a removable panel that can be stored in the frunk (front trunk).
What’s the interior look like in the car?
The interior of the Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut is simplistic yet luxurious. It has sport bucket seats that are light and comfortable which are also adjustable through the SmartCenter digital dashboard touchscreen.
The SmartCenter and steering wheel as well as a central display features high-end technology and a variation of features to help further the performance and experience of the vehicle.
The Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut has similar features as the Jesko in terms of USB inputs, phone charging, auto climate control, Bluetooth, and leather or Alcantara trim. Similarly to other vehicles, the Absolut will also have over-the-air software updates.
