Why Beyoncé’s Lamborghini LM002 is so special
This isn’t the first appearance of the LM002 for the power couple, as it was featured in the 2018 Apesh*t music video, but fans at the time speculated that the exotic car was on loan from Lamborghini. According to
Lamborghini’s first precursor to the LM002, a prototype codenamed “Cheetah,” was designed in 1977 with the intent to sell to companies in the oil industry.
Nicknamed the “Rambo Lambo,” the LM002 exudes power and luxury. The massive off-roader is fitted with a powerful V12 engine for performance and speed.
Even among celebrities, a car of this caliber is quite a rarity. Perhaps Bey’s Lambo is an homage to fellow diva Tina Turner, who drove a modified LM002 that she equipped with a Mercedes V8 automatic transmission.
