With a 2.9-liter twin-turbo V-8, the Ferrari F40 can get from 0 to 60 miles per hour in just 4.2 seconds and has a maximum speed of 197 mph.

The F40 quickly earned a reputation for its power, and this resulted in its price soaring. Initially listed with a base price of $399,150, Car and Driver says that Ferrari F40 models often sold for $900,000 or more.

Only 1311 F40s were made in total, so an interested buyer can expect to pay well over $1 million for one today.

Ferrari 330 P4

Produced in 1967, the Ferrari 330 P4 is a gorgeous V12 that thrived in endurance racing. The story behind the P4 is interesting, as it was designed after Ferrari struggled in the 1966 24 Hours of Le Mans. Ford swept the podium, forcing Ferrari to go back to the drawing board.

The result was the Ferrari 330 P4, which proved that Ferrari could still win at endurance races. The P4 successfully had its own podium sweep at the 1967 24 Hours of Daytona.

Few cars are as instantly recognizable as the Ferrari 250GTO. First introduced to the world in 1962 and being produced until just 1964, the 250GTO was a 300-horsepower V12 that thrived on the track.

The 250GTO was the World Sportscar Championship winner for three years straight from 1962 to 1964.
