Will my non owners car insurance policy cover theft of the vehicle I was driving?
I have a non owners car insurance policy on my parents' car. The car was stolen and I filed a claim. Now the insurance company won't cover the theft because they say it doesn't apply to my non owners policy. Is this correct?

“Unfortunately for you, the insurance company was right to deny your claim.
Non owners car insurance
only offers liability coverage, which pays for other people’s property damage and medical expenses. Theft falls under the umbrella of comprehensive coverage, which isn’t a part of non owners policies.
Hopefully, the car is recovered with little to no damage. If not, I’m afraid you or your parents will have to pay out of pocket for a new vehicle.”
