Will my insurance cover me if a drunk driver hit my parked car?

I was at work when a drunk driver plowed into my vehicle. It's completely totaled. After calling my insurance company, they said his insurance would have to cover the costs (I only have liability). What should I expect or what can I do?

“Cross your fingers and hope that the other driver has insurance. If they do, their policy will cover the damages up to the amount listed on their policy.
If they don’t have insurance, then I’m afraid you’re out of luck.
For the future, you may want to consider buying
uninsured/underinsured motorist coverage
or
collision insurance
to protect your car.”
