Will my homeowners insurance policy cover a collapsed shed?

If my shed falls over, will my insurance pay to replace it? I have an old wooden shed in my backyard. It leans about 15 degrees to the east side.

“It is unlikely that your insurance will cover the collapse of your shed if it is leaning due to age and deterioration.
If the damage occurred slowly over time, the adjuster would likely consider the damage to be caused by lack of maintenance and neglect, so the damage would be excluded under your policy.
If the shed is leaning due to a sudden event, like an
act of god
, the insurance may cover a claim, but the damage would need to be estimated by an insurance adjuster.”
