"I had an unforeseen expense and as a result, I'm going to be four days late on my car loan.

Will this affect my credit score?"

“No, this won’t affect your credit score. Most lenders allow you a grace period, typically around five to 10 days, but you’ll have to check your contract to find out or call your lender.
If you don’t have a grace period, you might get hit with a late fee. So, again, contact your lender and find out the relevant information.
Because you’re only a few days late, you don’t need to worry about your credit.”
