I recently moved from Florida to Texas. At the same time, my auto insurance is about to lapse. Can I get coverage in Texas with a Florida driver's license?

“When you move to Texas, the Department of Public Safety requires you to get a new driver’s license within 30 days and register your car in Texas within the same time frame. Therefore, you should move on this as quickly as possible.
You can go to the Texas Department of Public Safety website to see what documentation you need to get a driver’s license.
