high-risk drivers
. Typically, drivers with significant infractions on their driving records will need an SR-22 form filed for them before they are allowed to hit the road again. Drivers with the following infractions on their record will likely need an SR-22 form:An SR-22 form isn’t a type of insurance. It is filed by your insurer on your behalf with the state, essentially guaranteeing that you meet or exceed your state’s minimum liability requirements before you actually hit the road.
If you need an SR-22 form filed for you, be prepared to pay a much-higher-than-average insurance premium.
