Will a Lincoln Continental fit on 24s without rubbing?

I've been fixing up my dad's old Lincoln Continental for the past year and a half. Now I’ve finally got it up and running and look not much worse than new. Before I pronounce my pet project officially finished, though, I wanted to thow an extra little bit of flair or flourish onto the car, as a celebration. I was thinking I would trade out the old 18-inch wheels for some 24-inch wheels. Just want to make sure that those will fit with that Continental.

That sounds like one awesome project! Sounds like you put a lot of work into restoring your dad’s old ride. I wish I had some better news for you. Unfortunately, you can’t drive your
Lincoln Continental
on 24s.
To make your Continental work with tires that size, you would have to do extensive body modification including lifting. As it stands now, 24-inch wheels, assuming you could even get them on, would rub against the undercarriage of the car. The added strain and stress on the body frame of the car. On top of that, it leads to higher wearing damage and eventually blowouts.
You may not be able to put your 24-inch wheels on the Lincoln Continental, but at least you can still save hundreds of dollars on your
car insurance
for the continent. All you have to do for that is download the free insurance broker app called
