won’t start and you don’t hear clicking when attempting to start it, your car may have one of the following three issues: - A dead battery
- A dead key fob battery
- A faulty alternator
First, pick up a new battery for your key fob and then try to start your car. If that’s unsuccessful, use a multimeter on your car’s battery to get a read on its voltage. If the multimeter displays a reading between 12.2 and 12.6 volts, your battery is healthy.
Your car may be dealing with a more serious issue, like a bad alternator. Call a tow truck to bring your car to the nearest auto shop to discover the root of your car starting problem.
