Why should I add uninsured motorist coverage in Colorado?

I know it's not required and I have good health insurance and full-coverage auto insurance. I don't really understand why I would need to pay for it or add it to my current policy.

“Although
uninsured motorist coverage
isn’t required in Colorado, it can still be beneficial.
Having good health insurance may ensure that you do have coverage for medical bills if you’re injured in an accident, but it may not cover all of your costs. Even great health insurance plans still have maximums and limits. Injuries and health-care costs can add up, especially for extended hospital stays or continued care due to an injury.
While
comprehensive coverage
and
collision coverage
will protect your vehicle, you’d still be required to pay your deductible. Additionally, you’d be submitting a claim to your own insurance. Even if you weren’t at fault and the other driver was uninsured, you may still face rate increases.
With uninsured motorist coverage, you can easily avoid these situations. You can never have too much insurance coverage. “
