Why is my Kia wireless charger not working?

My Kia has this pretty sweet wireless phone charger. However, it stopped working today! I’d love to get it back in action. Why is my Kia wireless charger not working?

That’s frustrating! Your

wireless charger not working may be due to poor phone placement, your phone case, or an electrical issue.

One issue may be that your phone is not aligned properly. Move your smartphone around the charging pad until the charging indicator light turns on. If the charger pad’s orange light flashes for ten seconds, there’s a charging issue. Remove your smartphone then place it back on the pad to fix this.

Another issue may be your phone case. Remove your phone case when charging and see if that helps.

Finally, the problem may be with the connector between your battery and the charger or the fuse. If you’re feeling handy, check these electrical components under your dashboard and see if you can diagnose the issue.
