Why can’t I open the passenger window from the driver side?
All of a sudden, I cannot control the passenger window while driving. The switch just won’t work. Why can’t I open the passenger window from the driver side?

If you can’t open the passenger window from the driver’s side, you may need to reset the windows.
In most situations, you can reset the windows according to a special process in your owner’s manual. This may involve holding down a switch for certain intervals—different for every make and model.
Try these steps:
Get behind the wheel and close the driver’s door.
Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
Push the switch down for the driver’s side window until it’s halfway open.
Pull the switch up for the driver’s side window until it’s completely closed—then HOLD the switch up for one more second.
Repeat this process for the passenger side switch.
If you recently swapped out your battery, this could cause a window switch problem.
Luckily, this is a fairly common problem that dealers are usually quite happy to rectify. If the instructions in your owner’s manual don’t work, call your dealer and make an appointment!
