Who pays for repairs when a tree branch causes damage to a car?
My girlfriend's car was parked in my driveway during a bad windstorm. A huge branch fell off my maple tree and trashed her car! I have a high homeowners deductible; do I have to pay it to get her car fixed?

comprehensive coverage
on an auto policy. Since comprehensive is a no-fault coverage, it is probably best for your girlfriend to contact her auto carrier directly for this claim. She will most likely have a much lower deductible, too! “
