Who owns the Texas toll roads?
I’ve lived in Texas for several years, so I’m getting pretty used to paying tolls whenever I drive around the big cities, but I’ve always wondered—who actually owns them?

The Texas DOT’s Toll Operations Division (TOD) develops, operates, and maintains the over 250 miles of toll roads located in the state’s major metropolitan areas. But as of 2003, many of Texas’s 25 toll roads are owned by public-private partnerships.
