Who owns MINI Cooper?
I’ve been researching car brands and came across Stallantis and all of the car manufacturers it owns, but I didn’t find Mini Cooper—who owns it?

You’re right! Stellantis is a multinational automotive manufacturing corporation with several big-name car brands, but BMW owns MINI Cooper. The MINI brand debuted in 1969 by the Rover Group, previously known as BL until 2000. In 1996,
BMW
purchased MINI and it came to be known as BMW MINI Cooper. So, who manufactures MINIs? BMW! And although BMW is a German automotive company, MINIs are still predominantly manufactured in England, and most vehicles are created by a Netherlands contract plant.
With BMW as the new owner, MINI underwent a drastic transformation in its vehicle lineup and now offers several models besides the iconic two-door hatchback:
