Who is liable for acorns that broke my windshield?

As the acorns fell from a tree, it’s not something another person is liable for, even if they own the property the tree is on.
You’ll be responsible for repairing or replacing your windshield. As glass repair and replacement is common, you should be able to find a company offering an affordable rate.
Even if you did have comprehensive coverage, you’d still have to pay your deductible. Repairing or replacing glass often ends up being less than your deductible, so you’d most likely have to pay out of pocket anyway.”
