Where is Valet Mode on my Tesla?

I’m going on a date to a super-fancy restaurant that has valet parking. But I don’t know how to put my Tesla in Valet Mode. Can you help me out?

Of course! With your Tesla in park, you can find Valet Mode by touching the driver icon at the top of the Controls screen, then touching Valet Mode.
The first time you engage Valet Mode, you’ll be asked to set a four-digit pin, which you’ll enter to take the vehicle out of Valet Mode when you pick it up. When Valet Mode is engaged, your car will automatically:
  • Limit speed, acceleration, and power
  • Lock the frunk, trunk, and glovebox
  • Hide home and work locations in your navigation system
  • Disable voice commands and Autopilot features
  • Disable Mobile Access, Homelink, WiFi, and Bluetooth
  • Lock driver profiles and hide keys
Tesla drive modes may take a while to learn, but many of them—like Valet Mode—are an excellent way to protect both you and your car when using these types of services. Another key factor in protecting your car is ensuring you have it covered with quality
