Where is the OBD port location in a 2008 Honda Civic?
I’m trying to run a diagnostic on my 2008 Honda Civic, but, try as I might, I can’t seem to locate the OBD port. Where is this pesky port located?

Honda Civic
is underneath the dashboard to the right of the steering wheel. Look for a gray port.You probably already know that the Onboard Diagnostics II (OBD-II) port is a universal connector that provides access to your Honda Civic’s internal computer in order to run emissions tests and diagnostics.
To run a diagnostic test on your Honda Civic, you’ll need an OBD-II scan tool. Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC) are stored in your Civic’s computer system and will vary by manufacturer.
To run a diagnostic test on your Honda Civic, follow these instructions:
First, plug the scan tool into your OBD port—you know where to find it now!
Power on the scan tool and turn your Honda Civic on.
Press ‘Scan’ on the scan tool and follow the directions on the screen.
That’s it! Within a few seconds, the scanner should diagnose the code.
