Surprisingly, the Honda Odyssey is not made in Japan for American markets. It’s actually made at Honda Manufacturing of Alabama in Lincoln, Alabama. Plus, the 10-speed transmissions in every Honda Odyssey are manufactured at the **Georgia Transmission Plant in Tallapoosa, Georgia.
While it’s technically a Japanese vehicle, the Honda Odyssey has the second-most American construction and assembly of any car on the market, according to the American-Made Index. Only the Jeep Cherokee is more authentically American, although many Tesla vehicles fall closely behind.
