Don’t feel stupid! Gas buttons are located all over the place on various models, so you’re certainly not alone—the gas button on a Jeep Cherokee is either located on the driver’s side door near the map holder compartment or below the headlight knob to the left of the steering wheel.
If you have a model made in 2019 or after, the Jeep Cherokee doesn’t have a gas button—all you need to do is find the gas tank filler door, push, and voila! It opens just like that. Once you’re done filling the car, just press it again to lock it back in place.
