Where is the fuel pump relay located on a 2002 Ford Excursion V10?

I’m having trouble starting my 2022 Excursion. When I turn the key I don’t hear any noise from the fuel pu mp which makes me suspect there could be an issue with the fuel pump relay, but I have no idea where it’s hiding on this massive vehicle. Can you tell me where the fuel pump relay can be found on a 2002 Ford Excursion V10?

Sorry to hear about your car troubles! The fuel pump relay on a 2002 Ford Excursion V10 is located within the Power Distribution Box under the hood.
Most early 2000s models of the Ford Excursion have the fuel pump relay soldered to the fuse box, which means you won’t be able to simply replace the fuse—you’ll have to have the whole fuse box repaired. If the fuel pump relay isn’t working, neither will the fuel pump. These issues typically reveal themselves in the form of a stalling engine ** or an engine that **won’t start at all.
Mechanical problems can be hard to predict when you drive a vehicle that’s been around for decades, but on the plus side, purchasing
car insurance
for an older vehicle is usually much cheaper than insuring something that came on the market in the last year or two.
