Where is the Fiat 124 Spider made?

I absolutely love the Fiat 124 Spider. Since it’s a Fiat, that means it’s built in Italy, right?

Eh, sort of. Not only is it just sort of a Fiat, but it’s also only sort of built in Italy.
The Fiat 124 Spider is made in Japan, but final, model-specific parts and its Fiat-Abarth badging are installed in the Officine Abarth in Turin, Italy. The vehicle, manufactured for the 2017 to 2020 model years, is no longer in production and was the product of a joint venture between Mazda and Fiat.
Despite its relatively short production run, you can still find used models for under $35K fairly easily if you’re interested in adding one of these speedy Spiders to your vehicle lineup. But, whatever you’re driving, make sure you’ve got yourself covered with solid
