The Dodge Journey 2013 battery location is on a bumper shelf, behind the bumper, on the passenger side of the vehicle**. Some manufacturers select a different location for the battery to reduce heat exposure and balance weight.
To access the battery, you’ll have to jack up the car, remove the wheel, and remove the plastic inner guard. Then, you can remove the brackets and safely take out the old battery.
