The cruise control feature on the 2014 Nissan Senta is on the right side of the steering wheel with the rest of the steering wheel-mounted controls. However, remember that not all Sentras have the cruise control feature.
The cruise control function on a 2014 Nissan Sentra allows you to set a driving speed between 25 and 89 mph without keeping your foot on the gas pedal.
To turn on cruise control, press the ON/OFF switch. The CRUISE indicator light will illuminate in the instrument panel on the dashboard.
To set your cruising speed, accelerate your vehicle to the desired speed, push the COAST/SET switch and release it. Release your foot from the gas pedal, and your car will drive at the set speed. To accelerate and pass another vehicle, push the accelerator pedal. Your vehicle will return to the previously set speed after releasing the gas pedal.
To turn off cruise control, push the CANCEL button, tap the brake pedal, or push the ON/OFF switch. Once deactivated, the CRUISE indicator light on the instrument panel will disappear.
Knowing where to find your cruise control and how to operate it is key to maximizing your Sentra’s capabilities. But on top of learning how to use your vehicle, ensure it’s protected with a solid Nissan Sentra car insurance
