The BMW i3 was made in the manufacturer’s factory in Leipzig, Germany. The BMW i3 was the first totally-electric model from the brand, and 250,000 were produced in the car’s nine-year run. The i3 was sold in more than 74 countries across the globe.
Currently, the BMW Group plant in Leipzig produces the 1 Series, the BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe, and the BMW 2 Series Active Tourer. Estimates suggest this factory manufactures around 1,000 vehicles each day.
