Where is the battery on a Porsche Macan?
My friend was letting me look at his new Porsche Macan, and when he lifted the hood I noticed there wasn’t anything that looked like a battery. Is the battery located somewhere else?

The Porsche Macan’s battery is actually located in the trunk underneath the spare tire. To access your battery, you’ll need to lift up the hatch in the rear cargo area, remove the spare tire, and remove the rear speaker (if your model has one). Then you’ll be able to reach your battery.
Many car manufacturers have moved their vehicle batteries out from under the hood to make more room in the engine compartment and protect the battery from high temperatures. But while it’s becoming rare to find a battery under the hood, there are usually still terminals available to make jumpstarting your vehicle easier.
