Where is the battery located in a 2006 Buick Lucerne?
I’ve been having trouble starting my 2006 Buick Lucerne, and a friend suggested I look at the battery terminals to see if they’re corroded. I popped the hood, but nothing looked like a battery. Is the battery in a Buick Lucerne located somewhere besides under the hood?

The battery in a 2006 Buick Lucerne is located underneath the rear seat. To access it, you’ll need to move the back seat away from the floorboard and it should reveal the battery.
If you’re having issues with your battery, the first thing you should check is how old the battery is. Vehicle batteries typically need to be replaced every three to five years, but they can wear out faster due to some driving habits or exposure to extreme temperatures.
