Where is the 2wd F150 locking differential switch?

I recently inherited my dad’s 2wd F150 and I want to take it off roading. I read online that the locking differential switch can prevent the truck from getting stuck in the mud, but I can’t figure out how to turn it on. How do I activate the 2wd F150 locking differential?

Congratulations on your new truck! It’s always fun getting to hit the roads in a newly acquired vehicle.
Unfortunately, the electronic locking differential is only available in
Ford’s
4 wheel drive models. So your dad’s 2wd F150 does not have a locking differential switch.
However, if you’re keen on having stronger off-road capabilities in your truck, you can take your vehicle to a professional mechanic for advice on what off-road features you can implement.
Whether you’re hitting the highway or a backroad, you’ll want to ensure your truck is protected with insurance. With the #1 rated insurance app
