The auxiliary battery in a 2018 Jeep Compass is mounted directly in front of the primary battery. To access it, you’ll need to remove the battery relay module and the battery hold-down.
If you’re planning on doing any work on your auxiliary battery, be careful—don’t forget that, even after you’ve disconnected the terminals, the wires will still be live since the primary battery is still hooked up.
