Where is the 2013 Nissan Rogue OBD port location?

My daughter drives a 2013 Nissan Rogue that’s been having some drivability issues lately. I want to check it out and scan the Rogue for trouble codes. Where is the OBD port location in a 2013 Nissan Rogue?

Your daughter is lucky she has a crafty parent like you! You can find the 2013
Nissan Rogue
OBD port under the dashboard on the driver’s side of the car. It looks like a trapezoid-shaped plug, and you’ll use it to connect your OBD-II scanner.
If your daughter’s Rogue has a high mileage count, you might see any of these Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC):
  • P0101: The engine is in limp mode
  • P0420: The catalytic converter is malfunctioning
  • P0456: There is a small EVAP system leak
  • P0455: There is a large EVAP system leak
  • P0171: There is too much or too little air in the combustion chamber
These are minor codes that don’t require emergency
car repairs
, but it’s always a good idea to
take your car to a repair shop or mobile mechanic
to pinpoint the issue right away. Even better, if your daughter has an
extended car warranty
on the Rogue, the cost of repairs will be covered—so use it to your advantage!
