Where is the 2012 Dodge Challenger fuel pump relay location?
My wife wants to replace the fuel pump on my 2003 Expedition, but she asked me to find out where the fuel pump relay is. I don’t even know what that is. Can you help?

Don’t worry—few would know off the top of their head where to find a fuel pump relay! The 2003 Ford Expedition fuel pump relay can be found under the floorboard by the front passenger seat.
You will likely need to remove the carpet and plastic floorboard component to access it. If you’re having trouble pinpointing it, we recommend looking at your Expedition’s owner’s manual for extra assistance.
The fuel pump relay—also called a fuel pump shut-off switch—is an electrical component in your car that acts like a switch to turn off power to the fuel pump. It’s vital to access if your fuel pump needs maintenance.
Most cars also have a safety mechanism that activates the switch to disallow fuel from entering your engine after you are in a significant collision. If your engine is turning but not turning on, it might be a sign that your fuel pump relay needs a reset.
Since accessing the fuel pump relay can be a doozy, we recommend only doing it if you feel confident in your ability to maintain cars. Otherwise, have a trusted car guru or mechanic help you out.
