I had to jumpstart my 2012 Chrysler 300 yesterday and noticed that the battery wasn’t under the hood with the jumper-cable attachment points—where is the 2012 Chrysler 300’s battery located?

In an effort to conserve space, your Chrysler’s battery is not underneath the hood—rather, the 2012 Chrysler 300’s battery location is in the trunk, underneath the floor lining.

To view the battery, you will need to lift the floor lining up and out, at which point you should see the battery to the right of the spare wheel, in front of the electrical fuse box.
