It isn’t intuitive, but the 2008 GMC Acadia’s battery is located in a floor pan directly behind the front passenger seat. You’ll need to lift the floor mat to access it.
Once you remove the floor mat behind your 2008 GMC Acadia’s front passenger seat, you should see a cover shaped like a square with rounded corners. This is where the battery is located. You will need to use a screwdriver to remove the singular screw holding it in place before prying it open to access the battery.
