Where is the 2000 Honda Accord OBD port location?
My son has become obsessed with fixing cars and just brought home a 2000 Honda Accord that sounds a little rusty. The problem is we can’t find the OBD port to figure out what’s wrong—where’s the OBD port located on a 2000 Honda Accord?

’s OBD port is located under the steering wheel in the fuse box. All vehicles manufactured after 1996 come standard with an OBD-II port as mandated by federal law. OBD stands for On-Board Diagnostics which is an onboard computer that keeps track of all vital car data, such as mileage, speed, emissions, and much more. The OBD system is connected to your dashboard warning lights that turn on when it detects an issue with your car.
After you find the OBD-II port, you’ll want to use an OBD-II scanner to scan the system for any possible problems with your son’s Accord. Plug the scanner into the 16-pin connector and start diagnosing the problem if you
