Where is the 1996 Toyota Corolla fuel pump relay location?
My 1996 Corolla has been a workhorse since I owned it—however, it recently stopped working. The engine cranks, but the fuel pump doesn’t sound like it’s activated. As such, I’m going to check the fuse—where is the fuel pump relay location on the 1996 Toyota Corolla?

If you’re trying to find the fuel pump relay on a Corolla, it’s downright tricky—it isn’t in the fuse box on the driver’s side of the vehicle, which is counterintuitive on many levels. The 1996 Toyota Corolla fuel pump relay location is actually behind the radio and center console.
To access this area, you’ll need to remove everything below your radio or climate control, depending on which is lower in your particular trim. It’s only a few screws and plastic tabs, so it’s not particularly difficult—it’s just a pain.
Once you have this removed, look into the exposed area. On the left-hand side, you should see a small box, which is about a 1-inch cube. This is the fuel pump relay.
