- Florida
- Hawaii
- Kansas
- Kentucky
- Massachusetts
- Michigan
- Minnesota
- New Jersey
- New York
- North Dakota
- Oregon
- Pennsylvania
- Utah
In these states, the
minimum coverage car insurance
you’re required to carry includes PIP. As fault isn’t required for insurance companies to pay out claims, having personal injury protection
ensures medical expenses are paid for immediately. While these states require PIP, they all have different minimum requirements. You’ll want to verify with your state’s DMV or car insurance carrier to confirm the amount you’re required to carry.”
