Where does Ford get their semiconductors?
I’ve read numerous articles about the semiconductor shortage happening throughout the country. I’m in the market for a new car, so I’m worried about production halts and other delays to get a new Ford. Where does Ford actually get its semiconductors?

You’re right, the world is seeing a huge demand for semiconductors that’s not being readily met by the supply. That’s why Ford contracts many domestic and foreign companies to get its semiconductors. Some of the most notable suppliers of semiconductors for Ford include:
- NXP Semiconductors and STMicroelectronics in Europe

- Onsemi and Microchip Technology in the United States
