Henry Ford died at his home in Dearborn, Michigan on April 7, 1947, after a cerebral hemorrhage. He was 83 years old.
According to his biography published on the Ford website, he died with his wife, Clara Ford, and members of their household staff at his side. He was buried at his family’s graveyard at St. Martha’s Episcopal Church in Detroit.
