Where can I practice driving?

While I already got my license, I don’t feel 100% confident when I’m driving, especially in heavy traffic or congestion. I want to get some more practice to fine-tune my skills. Where’s the best place I can practice driving?

Learning to
drive safely
is a constantly evolving process, so as the adage goes: practice makes perfect.
You can practice driving in:
  • Unused parking lots or those with light traffic
  • Suburban streets
  • City streets (if you need practice driving in the city)
  • Small towns or villages
While you’re practicing, remain calm, remember the rules of the road, and apply what you learned in class or through your driving lessons. If you’re still unsure or unconfident about driving, take some additional lessons. Lessons generally run about $50 to $80 per hour but are worth their weight in gold.
You’ll also need the right car insurance coverage to keep you safe. That’s when the
Jerry
app can help.
A licensed broker, Jerry helps you compare quotes from over 50 top providers in minutes. When you find a better rate, Jerry can help you buy your new coverage and even cancel your old policy.
