Where are Toyota Tacomas made?
I’m a huge fan of the Toyota Tacoma, and I’ve owned several iterations of the truck since its debut on the market. However, I feel like an American recession is imminent so I want to buy American products whenever I can. Where does Toyota make the Tacoma?

While the Tacoma was once produced in the United States, Toyota now builds the Tacoma at Toyota Motor Manufacturing de Guanajuato in Apaseo el Grande, Mexico. Citing the need to reduce overhead—namely in the form of labor—Toyota shifted production from San Antonio, Texas, to Mexico in 2021.
