Where are Honda 4-wheelers made?

I’m a huge fan of 4-wheeling, and I’ve bought various Japanese and American models in the past. However, after driving a Honda-made 4-wheeler, I was blown away by how awesome it was—so much so that I’m thinking of buying one. Where does Honda make its 4-wheelers?

Honda has been making 4-wheelers since 1984, although it lags behind some of the bigger names in the industry like Yamaha, Polaris, and Kawasaki. So, to gain more customers, the Honda 4-wheel operations were moved to
South Carolina
in 1998. Today, Honda of South Carolina in
Timmonsville, South Carolina
supplies all of the Honda 4-wheelers for the American market.
That said, the quality behind its newer lineup of
ATVs
has been much lauded, and its reach has expanded, earning the trust and respect of consumers who know a thing or two about an ATV.
