Where are Ford electric cars made?
After the remarkable move by Tesla to corner the American EV market, I’m impressed by what Ford has done as a response. While the company still lags behind to some degree, I want to know more about what they’re doing. Where does Ford make its electric cars?

After the booming popularity of Tesla and new legislation pushing people toward electric cars, Ford had to make a move. In the last three years, Ford has pushed three EVs into production at various locations in North America. Here’s where each of them is made:
- Ford F150 Lightning: Dearborn, Michigan
- Ford Mustang Mach-E: Cuautitlan, Mexico
- Ford E-Transit: Kansas City, Kansas
Each of these EVs has a different target market and usage, and Ford has effectively increased demand for its EVs. Only time will tell just how successful the company’s jaunt into electric vehicles will become.
