When should pregnant women stop driving?

I’m pregnant with my first child right now, and I’m so worried about messing something up. Is it safe to drive while pregnant? If not, when should pregnant women stop driving?

Congratulations on the pregnancy! It’s usually recommended that pregnant women stop driving once their stomach is close to the steering wheel. This is because the baby could potentially get hurt in utero in the event of an accident.
When your stomach is within 7 to 8 inches of the steering wheel, it’s best to start sitting in the passenger’s seat. And if you ever feel overly tired or dizzy when driving pregnant, pull over immediately for the safety of yourself and
your baby
. It’s so important to not overexert yourself!
