When did the Kia 7-year warranty start?

I’m intrigued by the Kia 7-year warranty, as it seems like it’s one of the best in the business. However, I’m not sure when they started it. When did Kia begin its 7-year warranty?

The Kia 7-year warranty started in 2014 when it was introduced on the very first
Kia electric vehicle
—the 2014 Kia Soul EV. Since that time, the additional warranty for EVs has continued, remaining a perk on the Soul EV as well as being added to the EV6 and the Niro EV.
Every other Kia vehicle is still the recipient of one of the best warranties in the industry. Each new car gets both a 5-year/60,000-mile basic warranty and a 10-year/100,000-mile powertrain warranty.
The Kia 7-year warranty will certainly help you pay for issues that may arise, but some instances may require you to pay out of pocket. One of the ways that you can save for future expenses is by cutting your
