What's the warranty on a Toyota hybrid battery?

I’m interested in buying a Toyota Prius Prime to drive something a little more eco-friendly and cost-effective in terms of fuel, but I’m curious as to what the warranty coverage looks like for the model’s hybrid battery. And advice?

The Toyota Prius Prime is a great car, especially when it comes to fuel-efficient hybrids! The warranty on a Toyota hybrid battery lasts 10 years or 100,000 miles.
Called the All-Electric and Hybrid Battery Warranty, this applies to the Prius Prime and all Toyota hybrids and EVs. If your battery is deemed defective through no fault of your own (including normal wear and tear), Toyota will replace it.
Additionally, all Toyota models come with a standard warranty coverage plan that includes:
  • A 3-year, 36,000-mile basic warranty
  • A 5-year, 60,000-mile powertrain warranty
  • A 2-year, 25,000-mile no-cost maintenance warranty
In addition to your standard warranty plan and your hybrid battery plan, you can also protect your Toyota by updating your car insurance policy using
